Born into this world free of filter Four legs upon the ground No sense of the gravity That's keeping her down It's such a heavy weight to bear upon her arrival her very first footsteps fleeing for survival Born into this world absent of a path Nothing preconceived from past lessons learned Surviving in the wild We are the village That will raise this child What a village this is to foster the existence of a new protagonist How lovely is it this is how we get our perspective Parents plant seeds in her fur to flourish Into a garden that once mature will nourish The being that they have for certain Placed upon the greatest burden From her spine these plants will grow To provide nourishment wherever she might go To cultivate her ecosystem To foster the gift she's given

Njart 03:33
Left alone to lumber onwards Lentigo upon this deserted plane Stepping over bodies that remain Shells that once contained a life Now decay and fertilize This barren earth Somewhere on this rock you know there’s gotta be a spot of still Fertile dirt A plot of land whose contents can provide nourishment To support The growth of vegetation Her planets repopulation This was once a forest much like our own Where berries for birds to eat would have grown Sticks they tend to bend and break Forming messes of the nests we make It only takes a turning of the breeze A sole and single gust of wind And soon our shit is falling out the trees That couldn’t dig their roots in

Keeping her eye on the horizon Says it doesn’t seem so far Cause you can’t just close your eyes and walk The journey’s just too hard Things the distance doesn’t seem to cease Supported by land that’s now burning her feet A carcass can feed Parasites for weeks Smiling at the answer to the sense of purpose that she seeks In this state of mind Is it sad that she feels fine to lie down It's just another hill to climb Just another mountain that try as she might She can't see the other side She says "the only other part of me All I see Legs tired and weak Is another mountain just as high That shit’s twice as steep" Walking all these miles makes your muscles weak Only growing stronger once yo get some sleep Your star is setting now rest your blistered feet Knowing that you’ll never cease Callousing

Open 05:10
The land she sees is ever expansive She tries her best to understand it "How, if I am so small, Does anything that I do matter at all An inconsequential Existence intangible" A cell in a part of a whole incomprehensible Ample and complex system we all compose There must be something Besides all this suffering Answers coming at her Somehow from atop this peak If nothing really matters It all matters equally

Blatant 04:35
There’s a degree of trust necessary You’re blind to your back and it’s fucking scary The creatures eat Anything Their handed Can you understand it The certain doom Over consuming Spark stepped on stomped out Extinguish life Greed you need instantly Satisfied Sapling far from fruitful Ripped from roots Standing empty handed Expecting fruit A carcass can feed Parasites for weeks Happily they feast Ignorant of seeds Basking in their greed Life made into meat Happily they eat Flesh within their teeth

about

Bilions of people, billions of stars, billions of habital planets.

This set of songs tells the story of an alien born on a planet extremely similar to earth. Her species learned to plant and grow food in their fur when the intelligent, human-like species on their planet killed off all the arable land. She, and the rest of her species, now roam the barren planet in search of place where the vegetation they carry can be planted.
